Thief at Boulder CU Steals More Laptops from Campus
Police at CU Boulder have been asking help from the public in identifying a thief who has been stealing laptops and other computer equipment from the engineering department on campus. The main suspect was recently spotted on a surveillance camera, which can be seen, and anyone who is able to identify this person is urged to contact authorities.
Investigators have stated that this specific suspect is a 5’11”, a slender framed male who appears to be in his early 30’s. They also assume this individual is Black, however, the man’s ethnicity is unknown.
Since the last theft has occurred, students and faculty have noticed that other laptops and computer equipment have gone missing from both the engineering building as well as the chemistry building. Authorities urge students and faculty to register their laptops and equipment to not only help prevent further theft but to help track anything else that is stolen.
